"Ladies in Waiting". 5 x 7 oil on board. By request, a field of Bluebonnets.
I found Bluebonnets a challenge to paint. Simplifying thousands of flowers into as few brushstrokes as possible is a daunting task, but one that's fun to attempt. I look forward to taking a crack at it again in future paintings.

We are the proud owner's of this painting. My grandparent's had a large painting of Bluebonnets surrounding a Live Oak tree in the Texas hill country. I still miss that painting and the memories it contains.
I was in tears when I received the package from Adele. Your painting captures my request.
