"Stoneman Lake".  5 x 7 oil on panel.

About a half-hour drive south of Flagstaff on I-17, and another 20 minutes drive into the woods, nestled in--what looks like--a dormant volcano, is Stoneman Lake.  The water level is pretty low at the moment (I read that it's no deeper than 10 ft) and as such there's quite a few reeds filling it as well as a smattering of ducks.  The kids always love dropping by here as there's dry, rotting wood all around to smash and lots of places to explore.
